The most important is that the dialog runs within your game s process, whereas actually navigating to the Marketplace results in your game being tombstoned. The path back into your code is therefore very different: a real visit to the Marketplace would result in your game s Activated event being fired, whereas a visit to this dialog results in no such code path being followed. If you want your game to actually simulate being purchased, you might therefore need to provide additional code to update the existing user interface that the finished game would not require. Second, the dialog is asynchronous, and the code that calls it carries on executing immediately instead of waiting for you to click one of the dialog buttons. This is irritating, particularly as there is no event that reliably fires after the completion of the dialog; the page s GotFocus event works most of the time, but occasionally is triggered before the GamerServices.Guide.IsTrialMode property is actually updated.
